Treasure Lake is a private, gated, planned residential community found within the borders of Sandy Township. It is a great place to view the wildlife as hunting within Treasure Lake is very restricted. It is common to see large groups of whitetail deer, squirrels, and various types of fowl.
It features three lakes, which have been designated for different uses. The largest, named after the development, is 379 acres and is designated for motorboats, has a fully stocked marina, and two beaches. The middle sized lake, Bimini Lake, is 277 acres and is limited to 9.9hp or less boats and has one beach. The smallest, Little Flipper Lake, is 4.5 acres and is for 12 and under or 65 and older fishing. View map.
The community also has two PGA-rated, 18-hole golf courses, the Gold course and the Silver course. Each course also features a restaurant, lounge, and pro shop. Treasure Lake also offers camping and cabin rental. The campground has lots from tents to RV hookups. A pool, mini golf, pavilion, and ice cream shack are all located at the campground. Find more information here.
